In 1968, Amsterdam Metallized Products was founded. We started producing metallized yarns. In the seventies and eighties, “gold” and “silver” garments were extremely popular. Trends changed, and demand for yarns was varying, therefore it was decided to apply the gathered knowledge to transfer metalizing paper as well.
Transfer metallization is a more versatile process, and thus a wider range of applications can be achieved.
We understand better than anyone else that materials associated with gold and silver bring brilliance and add value to products.
Over the years Amsterdam Metallized Products has grown into a leading player in the market. Products were marketed under the brand name “Valvac”. Valvac is a recognized quality brand. Nowadays we produce approx. 50 million square meters of metallized and laminated paper, board and film which we supply worldwide.
